John Kamel, Sr. Compliance Analyst, has been with IAA since June 2023. His responsibilities include surveilling multiple facets of advisory and brokerage business and ensuring advisors adhere to regulatory and firm standards.
John earned a BS in Economics from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Before joining IAA, he was an operations and trade specialist with UBS. John holds his Series 7, Series 9, Series 10, Series 66, and SIE licenses.
Born in Cairo, Egypt, and raised outside NYC, John currently resides in Fort Mill. His talents include speaking fluent Arabic and EA Sports, where he was ranked in the top 100 in the world for FIFA in 2019. Outside the office, John enjoys volunteering at his church, collecting watches, reading, and walking his golden retriever Simba.
