CHARLOTTE, N.C. – November 16, 2017 – Independent Advisor Alliance (IAA), a leading independent registered investment advisory firm, announced today that Christopher Zaccarelli has been named Chief Investment Officer.

In addition to directing investment policy and research and portfolio management strategies, Zaccarelli will focus on delivering scalable, customizable and actionable solutions to help IAA’s network of advisors manage and grow their businesses.

A twenty-year veteran of the financial services industry, including a decade at Goldman Sachs, Zaccarelli joins IAA from Cornerstone Wealth where he served as Chief Investment Officer since 2015. During that time, he was responsible for the strategic direction of investment management, development of client portfolios and investment selection.
Zaccarelli has been cited in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Bloomberg and Reuters. He is also a frequent guest on CNBC-TV, Bloomberg Radio and in Wall Street Journal podcasts. Zaccarelli holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University’s School of Engineering and became a CFA® charterholder in 2009.
